This is just a short note to let everyone know that tomorrow (Saturday) we will be uploading the complete recording of the Muckrakers last concert. The last performance of the Muckrakers was a wonderful show filled with tons of great guests. The band came out with tons of heart and poured themselves into the entire show. The recording and will be made public tomorrow. Should be a great souvenir for anyone who was at the show, as well as for anyone who has never heard of the Muckrakers.
This week has been completely non-stop. In addition to the 9-to-5, Danielle and I have been recording and photographing a new local band called Shyaway. I would describe them as dirty rocknroll. Very raw, high energy party rock. We recorded their initial demo earlier this year, but since then they have reinvented themselves. New bassist, new guitarist, new songs. Tonight (Friday, October 16th) is Shyaway’s CD release show at Phoenix Hill Tavern. The first run of their 1st EP (titled “On The Rocks”) will be made available to everyone at the show.
In addition we will also be filming (5 cam) and recording show (full multi-track). You can expect to see that footage here on our site sometime next week…
The Mike Mangione and Brooks Ritter performance from back in July is available for download! The show is beautiful. Mike Mangione and his band are phenomenal players and the new stuff they showcased is as impressive as the material from their first tour! Brooks Ritter writes his music like its his last day on earth. He writes from his heart.
