Live at the 930 Listening Room on November 26th, 2009 - Louisville, KY

A small note: The fuzz on the guitar is not part of the recording process, but rather was a malfunction of the amp on stage. It was in need of repair but the Bowerbirds played on despite this setback! I attempted to ‘mellow out’ the tone but I could only do so much. The recording is a 4 channel matrix, and although very simple, captured the night beautifully! Enjoy!
The Mike Mangione and Brooks Ritter performance from back in July is available for download! The show is beautiful. Mike Mangione and his band are phenomenal players and the new stuff they showcased is as impressive as the material from their first tour! Brooks Ritter writes his music like its his last day on earth. He writes from his heart.

Wovenhand performed at the
930 Listening Room last October… Fantastic performance. I had never heard of Wovenhand prior to this gig, and I will make every attempt to see his band live if they come near Louisville again. I will refrain from over-hyping the performance and would much rather let you hear a sample on the podcast below. If you dig it,
